The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee auditions

Stoughton Village Players (SVP) will be having auditions for the hit musical comedy The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee on Sunday, August 1st from 2-5PM. The auditions will be at the SVP theater, 225 E. Main St. in Stoughton.

Those auditioning are asked to prepare 32 bars of an uptempo, contemporary song, preferably comedic, that shows off vocal range and acting ability. Bring marked music -- an accompanist will be provided.

The show will be directed by Patrick Fernan; musical director will be Michael Brunner; choreography will be by Katrina Williams-Brunner.

Show dates will be October 7-10 and 14-16, 2010

Auditions are open to those 18 and over. Primary roles are available for four men and four women and smaller roles will be available for two men and one-two women.

If necessary, callbacks are planned for the evening of Tuesday, August 3rd.
