The Stoughton Village Players offer residents of Stoughton
and the surrounding communities the opportunity to produce,
star in, and experience local theater.
The Stoughton Village Players, one of the oldest community
theaters in the area, was founded in 1972 and has produced
over 70 comedies, dramas, musicals and some shows that defy
description. Today we present three to four productions a
year, including our annual Syttende Mai play written by Village
Players members.
We are a nonprofit organization, with all profits going to
future productions, equipment and operational expenses, and
the purchase and renovation of the historic Badger Theater
on Main Street in Stoughton.
