Stoughton Youth Players Host Improv Workshop
Stoughton Youth Players, a new community group aiming to provide theater and drama learning opportunities to young people interested in performing arts, will soon host their second theatrical workshop for area kids. The Improv Theater Games event is free of charge, open to all kids grades 5-8, and held May 23 at 4 pm at the Stoughton Area Youth Center (SAYC), 567 E. Main St. Stoughton, WI.
Their first project, offering theatrical workshops to kids, kicked off on May 9th with a similar improv event. Similarly, this workshop focuses on improv and very basic scene reading. If interested, please register by reaching out to [email protected]. Also, those still or newly interested in getting involved with the blossoming children's theater program sponsored by Stoughton Village Players are encouraged to reach out to the group. They would love for you to join them! For more information about Stoughton Youth Players, email [email protected]. Organizers would surely love to hear if you have an idea for a third workshop. So if you'd like to volunteer for anything, if your kids would like to participate, if you'd like to be put on their email list, or if you have ideas to share, please let them know! Also, if you'd like more information on how this all began, check out the Children's Theater Program page under the HOME tab. |
