Odd Tales Theatre*:

Auditions: 
Saturday, March 23rd, 2-5pm
Sunday, March 24th, 2-4pm
​The Stoughton Village Players Theatre, 255 E Main St, Stoughton, WI 53589

An Evening with Odd Tales Theatre* (*unaffiliated with Stoughton Village Players) will present 3 original audio dramas, performed live. These will be script-in-hand performances with live sound effects. The scripts in consideration have profanity, violence, and adult themes.

Rehearsals will begin around April 16th. Each script will be rehearsed a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 10 hours. There will be one tech/sound rehearsal May 21 and one preview May 22.

Casting Directions:
​We are looking to cast women & men, all ethnicities. No pay. There may be double casting. 
​Actors will be reading from scripts provided. Please bring a headshot and resume if you have one.

Meet the Cast

​Elf is the entertaining tale of Buddy, a young orphan child who mistakenly climbed into Santa’s toy bag and was taken to the North Pole, where he was raised as an elf. Buddy’s enormous size over the elves and his poor toy-making skills led him to believe he was different, so Santa told him he was human and suggested he go to NYC to find his birth father, discover his true identity, and help NYC remember the true meaning of Christmas. A funny, heartwarming tale for all to enjoy.
